Flight Software Laboratory

Flight Software Laboratory: This 610 sqft temperature and humidity controlled laboratory contains nine 190 sqft of certified ESD workstations. With two high purity nitrogen drops and 26 intranet ports, this space accommodates up to twelve engineers and one technician. With the primary function of flight software maintenance, development and data analysis, this lab supports all types of instrument development from start to finish.

  • Large workbench area where up to eight engineers can side-by-side troubleshoot all sub-systems of an instrument.

Instrument Maintenance Area

Secluded area to accommodate delicate instrument assembly, or disassembly for mechanical investigation.

Flight Hardware Assembly Flow Bench

  • ESD-certified flow workbenches produce conditions near Class 10,000 for flight instrument assembly.
  • Lab is temperature and humidity controlled.
  • High purity nitrogen available for instrument purging
